Jotun and Orkney Brewery Skull Splitter Ale

Super Mario Bros. 3 and Flower Power IPA from Ithaca Beer Company

Do you smell that? No? You sure, take a really deep whiff. It’s the smell of nostalgia wafting around your nostrils and it smells DELICIOUS. This episode is a Far Back Friday edition of the normal Brewelist podcast, where we’re taking a look at a classic Nintendo game, Super Mario Bros. 3!

Certainly one of the most revered games of all time that continues to hold up and be fantastic. What beer would you pair with such a classic? Well, we picked the Flower Power IPA from Ithaca Beer Company for it’s punchy taste and ability to turn you into a flame-throwing plumber!

Don’t Starve, Dark Horse Raspberry Ale, Craft Brewers Night Owl Cream Porter

Planet of the Eyes and Inter-Planetary Lager

We’ve been hinting at it for a while, and it’s finally here; our first episode! To start off on this inaugural episode of the Brewelist Podcast we explore the strange pairing of Rohrbach Neoteric Series 1.0 Inter-Planetary Lager and CocoCucumber‘s Planet of the Eyes.

What could be better than navigating a strange planet with an adorable Polaroid-looking robot and sipping back on a space-timey brew? Not much…aside from listening to our podcast!
